Business Game Features In All Our Simulations
Our business simulation games that all have a set of features designed to enhance your students' learning.
Players can export their company reports to Excel. This allows them the flexibility to conduct their own analysis in whatever fashion they desire.
Real-time embedded charts and instant graphing allow players to easily monitor trends of variables like units sold or cost of goods sold.
The game Dashboard provides players an overview of their performance to date. The Dashboard is interactive, so clicking on either the graphs or the icons will display the relevant information.
The game Map visually shows players how the decision and report screens relate to each other. The Map is interactive, so clicking on the icon for a panel (for example, Marketing decisions) opens that panel.
There is a series of video tutorials that guide players through various facets of the simulation. These tutorials speed up the players comprehension of the simulation and save you from answering basic questions. Our instructor analytics allows you to monitor whether a player has viewed the tutorials.
In the Solo mode, your players compete with computer-managed competitors. The Solo game allows them to work with the simulation, make decisions and see the results. Using the solo version speeds up the players' comprehension of the simulation and lowers their anxiety before they begin working with the team-based game.
The built-in business advisor poses questions for players to consider. These advisors help your players identify areas for improvement. They don't give the players the answers they just ask the right questions to get players thinking about where they need to focus their attention.
Our simulations are designed to provide instructors with maximum flexibility and to give you maximum control. You can get up and running quickly using one of the class-tested configurations that are known to work well. Or you can change the default cost configurations for nearly any facet of the simulation, allowing you to simulate a wide variety of market conditions and products. You also can control when a decision round is processed, choosing between doing it yourself or having it processed automatically at specific times that you set. We do the rest for you.
Our simulations have reports and charts that give you immediate feedback on how your players' companies performed on the last decision round and also allow you to easily track company performance as you progress through decision rounds. We also have online analytics that provide extensive graphical and data analysis of student activity. These analytics let you monitor how individual players are working with the simulation, so that you can quickly and easily assess student performance and their level of involvement in the simulation.
Built in Communication
Built into our simulations is an email utility that allows you to email all players in the game, those in a particular team, or an individual player. This utility uses the email address the player used when registering to use the simulation. Often, players do not use their university or corporate email address as their preferred address. This utility makes it easy for you to contact the players at the email address they watch the closest.
